Haiti Product Donations Exceed $15 Million;
Distribution Continues Through Local Network of Agencies
|
The generous donations of new, essential products for Haiti have come to K.I.D.S. from 114 manufacturers and retailers over a seven week period since the tragic earthquake. Many of these donations have already been shipped to Haiti, or will be sent in the next few weeks.
They are being securely and efficiently distributed through 18 key partner agencies that are on the ground in Haiti and know the country well from years of experience. The partner agencies are using their knowledge of the communities to reach people through Relief and Refugee Camps; Institutions, including schools, medical clinics, hospitals, feeding pantries and orphanages; and Warehouse partners which get the product out to hundreds of grassroots agencies in Port Au Prince, as well as the surrounding areas where most of the population is now heading.
K.I.D.S. TAKES DONATIONS OF ONLY NEW CLOTHING AND PRODUCTS. We use our industry contacts to get new products the Haitian people will need in the coming weeks and months as they rebuild. WE ALSO NEED CASH DONATIONS FROM INDIVIDUALS TO HELP SHIP AND DISTRIBUTE THESE DONATIONS today and in the months to come. Every $10 in cash can help us deliver $100 of donated products. |

Children living in poverty is a disaster that happens every
day. Young lives facing a family in crisis. A debilitating illness that devastates a family’s well-being. Children in homeless shelters. Poverty that makes a child wonder, “Does anyone care about me?”
K.I.D.S. brings hope and self-esteem to children in need and their families by providing new clothes, shoes, toys, furniture, books and juvenile products donated by leading manufactures and retailers. The donations move through our network of community social service agencies in the U.S. and abroad to reach children who are ill, living in poverty or are the victims of natural disasters. Will you help? |
